Writing It Down

Working on the second draft of the plan. I woke up today and weighed 169.5 lbs after eating donuts 4 days this week. The diet has been like this for 3 years now. I’m amazed at how well it works!

This Weeks Treats!

Super Greens pasta with peas and wild caught salmon. This pasta has a great flavor. Would be good all by it’s self. It’s a combination of spinach, zucchini, broccoli, parsley, and kale.

French Pastries

Today I stopped in my favorite French restaurant in River Oaks and had this amazing french pastry plate and some decaff coffee. There was a chocolate croissant, a cinnamon crisp, a raspberry tart, and a blue berry muffin. Super Yummy! One or two days a week I will indulge in such as this. Well worth the wait!

Beer Thirty!

I stopped by my local bar and music venue for a couple of these today. I love beer!.. I just don’t like alcohol. I’ve found quite a variety of non alcoholic beers at several bars and pubs just by asking for a non alcoholic beer.  I think alcohol really does more damage than people think, so I abstain… From the alcohol not the beer.

Donuts Today

I stopped by the local donut shop today and indulged in these YUMMY babies. For the last 2 years I have been able to eat donuts and cheese cake on a weekly basis if I choose, and much of the time I do. I am at the size I was when I was about 14 and have been now for over 2 and a half years. If I don’t eat things like this, I get too skinny.

Things I eat when I travel.

Hi there! Today I wanted to share fitmeals when traveling.

When In Greece! Greek salad and bread. Over in Greece they don’t use lettuce in their salads. YUM! That’s Athens from a mountain top restaurant.

In Rome! Do as the Romans do. Pasta, veggies, and cheese with the Italian influence.

In Paris! This sandwich was all veggie and tasted like it had meat on it. It is amazing what the French can do with flavors.
Thanks for checking out my blog!
I’ll be back in a few days with more ideas for a filling fit diet!

Weekday Meals

dsc_0002
Hi there! Here’s a weekday meal for you to try.
Monday evening I start by boiling some green veggie pasta. While the pasta is boiling I cover the bottom of a frying pan with light olive oil. I then open a jar of sliced mushrooms and drain the liquid from the container and cover the bottom of the pan with the mushrooms and spread them evenly. Next I open a can of organic red beans and drain the liquid from the can and rinse the beans once or twice with water to remove any chemicals used in the storage process and pour them in on top of the mushrooms and spread them evenly. I cover the pan with a lid and set the heat to medium. In about ten to 15 minuets the pasta and veggies are ready to eat. Cook the beans with enough heat to make them burst open but watch them, so you can take them off  once they do this, or they will burn and get crispy.  Cooking beans this way seems to eliminate most of the gas you can get with eating beans. Now I have a very filling meal in a short amount of time right after getting home from work. Two cans of veggies and a hand full of pasta is a lot of food, so there’s no getting hungry again before bed. Cooking for myself is one of the key ingredients of my success in staying fit and trim with little effort and no workouts!
More simple recipes to come!
Thanks for Stopping by!

Sometimes I have Croissants  with nothing on them and  Decaf coffee in the mornings! It reminds me of Paris. Honey is my preferred sweetener for the coffee but brown sugar will do .

Saturday and Sunday meals

It’s  Saturday and my day starts off early. I get ready to go out casual and go to my local favorite French cafe’. I have two of their croissants and decaf coffee. 5 and a half hours later I have a salad with honey and lemon juice for dressing and water. Around 5 that afternoon I have some alcohol free beer and a nice Honduran cigar. After I get home I put some veggie pasta to boil and I saute some red beans and black beans in Olive oil with garlic powder. The beans are two cans of organic beans and the pasta is made of green veggies, the olive oil is light and the garlic is just powdered. I always check labels to make sure the ingredient list is as pure of one element as possible. like the garlic needs to be just crushed garlic. When I open the beans I drain and rinse them in the can with running water two times to get any other added elements out of the food. It’s important as much of the chemicals used in the storage process out of my diet. The beer is alcohol free because of my desire to keep sugar intake down and to maintain the highest level of brain function. Alcohol destroys brain tissue and the connections used for memory and good healthy brain function not to mention the effects of the sugar. I also have a big piece of cheese cake for desert. I know.. lots of sugar there, but because  I don’t use much sugar daily and the food I eat doesn’t have much of any in it, I’m good once a week eating a big fat piece of cheese cake, my favorite in the whole world of food!
Sunday I’m up early dressed casual and off to my French restaurant again for the coffee and croissants. Back home I do some internet surfing, then out to a movie. after the movie I go by the grocery and pick up some wild caught crab meat, goat cheese and honey wheat bread. Back home i make and eat 2 crab meat and goat cheese sandwiches on toasted wheat bread and drink 3 alcohol free beer over the course of the afternoon and another sandwich at around 7 that evening with a beer.
Bon Appetit!
